My Name is Tim Newman. I am the Sport Management Program Coordinator at York College of Pennsylvania.  I have a wonderful family and we are all passionate about sports.  Generally if I am not teaching, I am either researching aspects of the sport industry, traveling to sport related events or playing golf.

I love teaching the business aspect of the sport industry and watching the students grow both personally and professionally.  Blogging and social media is a somewhat new interest for me.  I am already incorporating this into the classes I teach and have helped students get jobs using social media such as Linkedin and Twitter.  Please feel free to leave a comment.
